ABOUT TASC

COMPANY HISTORY

TASC is affiliated with Brock & Scott, PLLC, the leading default services and recovery leader in the Southeast for more than 14 years. This relationship provides unequaled legal experience in real estate law and assistance in curative title services. TASC began as a small title search department within Brock & Scott in 1998, but continued to expand until going out on their own in November 2012. Now providing more than 2,000 title products, delivery of more than 3,000 legal documents, and crying over 600 foreclosure sales per month from Maryland to Florida and all states in between, their team of more than 45 employees are daily visitors to each courthouse in the region.

COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE

The Southeast is known for its lack of online information availability. TASC has a team of abstracting employees working in each courthouse of the Southeast on a daily basis. With an average experience level of more than 21 years, their abstractors are the best in providing the highest quality title search available while using their backlog of data to allow for an incredibly quick turnaround. TASC also prides itself on the strong relationships that have been built over the years with each county’s Register of Deeds and Clerk of Court. Their abstractors are normally on a first-name basis with the staff of each courthouse office and TASC employees have a reputation of being courteous, knowledgeable and well-prepared.

KEYS TO SUCCESS

Although speed and quality seem to be economic adversaries, TASC prides itself on having the highest turn time and lowest error rate in the industry. The high level of experience allows these two factors to co-exist. But most importantly, if an issue is found, TASC highlights it on their Title Report and they ensure a live person, if not the actual abstractor, is available for questions.

Exceptional communication is a requirement among all TASC employees- whether internally or with a client. Visibility to where a title product is in the order cycle is of the utmost importance - from the confirmation of the initial order to the expected delivery date to the final confirmation of product receipt.
